Fee Policies

  • The school fees of Vidya Vihar Convent High School are fixed by the Governing Body and may be revised whenever deemed necessary in the interest of the institution. Parents are required to clear all outstanding dues of the previous class before their child is permitted to continue in the promoted class. In the event of withdrawal, a Transfer Certificate or School Leaving Certificate will not be issued unless all pending dues and charges payable to the school are fully cleared.
  • The annual school fees are payable in four instalments. These instalments must be paid on or before the 15th of April, July, October, and January respectively. In case of delay, a late fee charge of 1% per month on the previous instalment amount shall be applicable from the due date. Continued non-payment may result in the student’s name being struck off the school rolls, after which re-admission shall be granted only upon payment of the prescribed re-admission fee. This rule is implemented strictly. If all dues are not cleared by the end of the academic session, the student’s result will be withheld until settlement of accounts.
  • Duplicate fee receipts may be obtained from the school office on payment of a nominal charge of Rs. 10. The school also provides the facility for online payment of school fees as per the prescribed procedure.
  • With regard to withdrawal and refund policies, the security deposit shall be refunded only if a written application for withdrawal is submitted to the Principal on or before 7th March of the final academic year at Vidya Vihar Convent High School. The security deposit will be refunded only after completion of the annual audit, that is, after 31st July. No mid-year applications for refund of security deposit will be entertained under any circumstances, and all refunds shall be processed only after the academic year concludes. In the absence of a duly submitted withdrawal application by 7th March, parents shall be liable to pay the fees for the subsequent academic year.
  • The School Leaving Certificate or Transfer Certificate shall be issued only after complete clearance of all dues and payment of all outstanding amounts payable to the school. In cases of vandalism or damage caused by the student, penalties shall be applicable. This includes loss or damage of library books, laboratory equipment, school IT facilities, transportation assets, or any third-party loss or damage during school activities and events.
  • If the withdrawal notice is submitted after 7th March of the running academic year, full academic fees for the following academic year shall be payable in order to obtain clearance for the Transfer or Leaving Certificate. In case of withdrawal at any time after commencement of the academic year, the fees for the full academic year shall be charged or forfeited in favour of the school.
  • The rules and regulations framed by Vidya Vihar Convent High School are intended to ensure smooth and effective functioning of the institution. The school reserves the right to amend, modify, or revise fee structures and regulations whenever required. Information provided in the school brochure, website, or application materials reflects the school’s intent at the time of publication and shall not be construed as a legally binding contract. These policies cannot be subjected to legal challenge.
